Does anyone know if applying Pastora to eradicate Bahia in Tifton 85 meadow at this time of year keep clover from germinating in the fall.

My only experience with it is reading the label after my nieghbor....a constant source of entertainment, killed his 35 acre oat field with it. Designed to control weeds and many grasses in established Bermuda grass pastures. Iirc..it's only labeled to control Pensacola Bahia.. little effect on other types, again iirc.

I'd just use metsulfuron. Heck of a lot cheaper and offers a broad range of control and will smoke Bahia grass.

My cost was $45 for 8 oz where can I find the product you stated for any less $$$.

Must be a generic. Which is fine. Pastora brand runs about $18/oz. Metsulfuron- sold as Cimmaron, Escort XP, Metcel VMF, and possibly others, runs from $12/oz for the Cimmaron down to about $6/oz on the Metcel, if memory serves me correctly. Recommended application rates are ALMOST identical.

Pastora active ingredient is nicosulfuron, but also contains around 15% metsulfuron.
Purestand active ingredient is metsulfuron. You should be fine with either. The ones I referenced above may be slightly cheaper but probably not enough to make much of a difference.

The product you bought is a generic form of the old ALLY product (metsulfuron methyl). I looked up the label and it said a 4 month minimum rotation for clover and ryegrass at a 1/10 to 3/10 oz per acre rate. Page 13 http://fs1.agrian.com/pdfs/Purestand_Label.pdf
