I have a bull calf aaa# 19772283 his Angus GS has him in the top 2% for PAP. I have an offer from a rancher that wants to buy him and take him to 8,000 feet elevation. How dependable is this epd? I don't want to sell him and he die. Should or can I get PAP test? We are at 5,000 feet currently. Thanks

A Pap test at 5,000 feet would tell you if he's high but it really wouldn't tell you if he's low if that makes any sense. It might not work for you but the best way to handle it might be for him to take him and have him tested at 8,000 feet. He'd need to be there for 45 days or so though.

If the bulls in the top 2% I'd think his chances would be good but I don't have any experience using PAP EPD's.
