Kinda like Bama is doing to Ohio State right now? 21-6 in the second quarter.

Going to be a lot more tomorrow, I've already seen one meme of FSU running off the field at the end of the game. It was not complimentary, but contained language I won't post here..

3rd qtr Bama/OhioSt and Buckeyes have scored more points than FSU did. Good game so far. They both came to play.

I like the fact that Ohio State didn't read all the reports of their demise. They may not win but they came to play.........Not takin nuthin from Bama but it's a good game.

It's a great day to be a Buckeye!! I think I'm going to wear my buckeye's jersey to work tomorrow. It's not FR but I think the company man will overlook it tomorrow. What a game.

Ducks are there, we'll see what happens. Urban was with ESPN he spent three days with Chip Kelly at oregon studying the Ducks offense. :shock:

:lol: a couple of great days of football. I know what you mean it was really nice to unwind during the buckeye game after going through the Duck game .... I know it was a blow out but stressful. I think I just heard the Ducks opened at a 7 point favorite over Buckeyes in Vegas.

I heard 2 interesting things-3 actually..
1. Ohio State is 3 deep in quality QBs--one, Braxton Miller is rumored to transfer to FSU.
As soon as that rumor started circulating, another began that crablegs Winston has decided to stay another year at FSU..........

2. But, I read also, that Jim Harbaugh, Michigan's new coach, would be trying hard to get Miller to transfer to his school.

3. There is a video floating around, which purports to show Bimbo Fisher and crablegs having a few words on the sideline and according to the video's (little to zero sound) commentary, Fisher threatened to bench crablegs in the 3rd qtr if he didn't "calm the benice down"--another coach had to get between them. I didn't see it during the game. It goes back to the "at least act like you've been here before" thing...

Winston is immature, and could probably do well to spend another year at FSU before going NFL. Fisher had to calm him down after the ND game and give him the "humble Pie" talk in front of national TV.

Except they didn't pick either team in the championship game as one of the top 2 teams in the nation..... Maybe they should go back to the BCS system and just run it as a playoff

Well, they got it 1/2 right, which is a lot closer than most years the BCS. Final ranking from the playoff committee Dec 7 was:
1 Alabama 12-1
2 Oregon 12-1
3 Florida State 13-0
4 Ohio State 12-1

The final 4 by all accounts was never intended to mean all that much WITHIN the grouping, even according to the 4 coaches of the teams that ended up in the quad group--including Fisher from FSU and Urban Meyer from OS.
There have been lots of people who were happy with the committee's work for weeks and weeks, but this morning, now suddenly want to go back to letting sports writers and coaches pick the final 4, but they are almost all SEC folks. Odd how that works..
