No water hookup mister

I have been looking for a way to run a fan mister where you don't have a city/well hookup. My idea is to have a tank, planning on using a rubbermaid cattle water tank, and run a hose into the tank, and then up to the mister, but what i'm looking for now is a cheaper transfer pump that can run off 12v or 120v, and able to lift water up about 8'-10'. If any of you have a idea, or have made one yourself please share.

Boat bilge pump should work and its submergeable

Shurflo diaphragm pumps would be a better bet than a bilge pump. hey have a built in pressure switch.

the mister is a sullivan's arctic circle, and they use about 1-2 GPH.

That's not much flow. The sump pump and the bilge pump is over kill.
Def need something with a pressure switch. Shurflo is still my reccomendation

ok, I actually was think about a pump like that, they have one at the farm store.
