I wouldn't say they are sway backed in fact when you see them in person they have great tops. The 172 bull is a little weaker through the hind quarter than the the 141 but they both carry nice width all the way down their frame. I really like the frame on these bulls. I am putting them on medium/large Brangus mommas so I wanted to select bulls that would complement the frame of the females. I expect these bulls to take just a little frame off of the biggest mommas and maintain the medium size that I prefer. I am trying to raise replacements and I am excited to see the heifers that these guys will produce. Over all I think these 2 are a good like pair and they should hold up well in our tough country.
Too many people find faults for the sake of finding faults!
Over here you can tell which kids and later on adults that have been taught to judge cattle by cattlemen and those that learnt for an inexperienced school teacher. Not saying that definately applies here but some people are just to quick to punch holes in other peoples cattle!
Thank you. I thought I was the only one that felt that way. That said, the fact is if you post pictures of your cattle there will be criticism. Sometimes it's warranted, sometimes not. Sometimes the criticism is a genuine effort to help, sometimes not. Some folks take criticism well, some don't. Once you've been here long enough you'll find it easier to sort it all out.
