You should get some nice calves out of that cross. Based off the bottom photo, I like the boy on the left the best.

:???: really?

I agree. They seem a bit sway backed and their tails are a little high. Thats just my opinion though and you can take it and $2 to McDonalds and get a cheese burger

i was talking about their thickness as that was the 1st thing that caught my eye.but now that could just be a heavy fed blls with feed bloom on them.they look tobe a tad sway backed.but it could also be the ground they are standing on.being on black cows the swayback wont hurt the calves.

They are young Bulls who haven't finished growing yet. They are higher in the tail because of that. Give them a year or two and they will look fine.

i dont think their sway backed
I'm not pointing fingers at any one. I don't have a clue if the bulls are actually swayback or not. I,m just showing some images I googled up out of intrest. Maybe somebody can explain to me how you tell. I know I can't see the spine through all that cover.

Well, they may not be the best bulls in the world, but I think they are pretty nice. I wouldn't say they are sway backed in fact when you see them in person they have great tops. The 172 bull is a little weaker through the hind quarter than the the 141 but they both carry nice width all the way down their frame. I really like the frame on these bulls. I am putting them on medium/large Brangus mommas so I wanted to select bulls that would complement the frame of the females. I expect these bulls to take just a little frame off of the biggest mommas and maintain the medium size that I prefer. I am trying to raise replacements and I am excited to see the heifers that these guys will produce. Over all I think these 2 are a good like pair and they should hold up well in our tough country.

That should be a good cross. However, the bulls don't demonstrate the natural muscle and thickness that I would prefer. But a person must also take into consideration the lack of forage that has hit parts of texas. Possibly their growth was stunted, they do not have a heavy bloom. 338 what picture are you looking at!

They're in pretty good shape considering they came from the Ft. McKavett area. Not much of anything down there to eat except the bark of cedar posts and whatever paper blows into the fields.

Are you guys taking this comment to literally?
In my honest opinion these guys are good honest young bulls judging by the PHOTOS provided! And I'm not saying they are bad pics either, just that it is possible for an animal to look very different in a pic.
I see no real flaws in these bulls. Can anyone show me a flawless bull that suits every herd anywhere in the world?
I think too many people here see problems that don't exist in the animals they are commenting on. Often the animal is out in the paddock just doing its thing, not standing posed like a show animal!
I think these are 2 great young bulls, plenty of growth and still showing growth, good thick hind quarters and look well put together!

An entirely accurate assessment I would say!
Too many people find faults for the sake of finding faults!
Over here you can tell which kids and later on adults that have been taught to judge cattle by cattlemen and those that learnt for an inexperienced school teacher. Not saying that definately applies here but some people are just to quick to punch holes in other peoples cattle!

Without seeing them in person it is hard to say. It is hard to believe RCR ranch would put out crap. I will say that you probably have to see them in person to really appreciate them, because the pics lack a little bit.
