New Engine

Help Support CattleToday:

it's interesting, but a lot of these 'novel' engine designs boast efficiency, power, reliability and price but don't actually deliver it in the end... One thing they fail to mention which will hurt efficiency is that it requires a supercharger, like an old Detroit diesel to scavenge.
The opposed piston engine concept has been around for a century (or more) but the complexity and attending weight gain made it unusable in the auto industry. It's also hard to see how, being a two stroke, they plan to get around the emissions laws (even though they say it produces less emissions and does not require DEF, really?)

Interesting to see how this one plays out.
