Update on calves nuflored all of them got them back out of the pen 48 hours latter temp. had dropped dramaticly 13 calves had a fever sill but all had gone to eating. Some still had a runny nose but I can deal with that I am much more optimistic with this group now. On a different note I think we are all on the right track stress seemed to have alot to do with the temps. being so high and the hot weather did not help things. Even though the calves are worked in the morning the Temp. was still 85 deg. and very humid. Thanks for all the comments. I turned them out to pasture yesterday and all seem to be eating and grazing well some are still walking the fence for mama but that will be over soon enough, the weaning pasture is not that big so they can't walk but so much. Thanks agin.
