Need help, bizerba meat slicer

I have never heard of the brand before, but it is a 12" blade, bizerba meat slicer. I have the opportunity to buy it for $300 OBO. My research on the Internet says it a good buy, but there are plenty of more popular brands out there. As little as I would use it I don't want to throw $ away when better is out there. For whatever reason he has no idea what the model is.....

Any help?

I did, but not on utube, used units seem to be going for around $1500.... But I have been watching for a meat slicer and have never heard of bizerba. They do have a bizerba usa web site.

Looks similar to a Hobart. If parts are available. I'd jump.on it
