I agree its a great site .Very useful when you guys are discussing a cattle breed that i know nothing about .These days i seem to do that more often haha .Unfortunatley its a bit light on the origin history of longhorn and doesnt say what type spanish cattle .i went on another site that said they evolved from spanish and english cattle but that wasnt quite correct as pointed out to me which has made me more curious im afraid thankyou for your help and info anyway

There is absolutely no question that the Hereford has been the most influential breed in Australia. So many other breeds have crossed themselves with Herefords. Brafords are a good example and now it is happening with Angus.
