Hoping for some insight from our DVM's. Can Draxxin and meloxicam be mixed and injected together? Sounds silly, but when administering with a dart gun it would have its advantages.

Dunno. For a start I would mix a small amount of both in a small syringe and see what it does.

5. CONCLUSION
It could be concluded that, the use of draxxin plus levamisole as alternative drug in calves which suffered from BRD provide enhancement of cellular immunity. Also, combination of meloxicam with draxxin was superior to the antibiotic alone.

Draxxin KP would be a good alternative, already has ketoprofen in it. I bought some last year and was pleased with the results.

One of the vets I use has a lab mix his own products and his go to calf sickness product is a mix of Tulathromycin and Meloxicam.
