Now I'm a "Bastropian"! Got my bed,tv,cats and easy chair moved,rest is just details.. :lol2:
I'm amazed at how quite it is,and at the number of birds. They are pretty tame. Of course the river is right down the hill.
There is a lot of lights,and the motion sensor lights go on whenever the wind blows,so must get blackout curtans..
Met the neighbors,they seem nice-'bout my age...
I did manage to strain my legs-couldn't wait on my son to do it,so I'm paying for it. :frowns:
But things are looking up for a change..Hope it keeps on.

Sorry,I'v been gone for awhile-To explain I'v moved from McDade( a narrow spot in the road) , where I'd lived for 60 years,to Bastrop.. To Gov Houseing.. So far it's all good.. Will be the first time I'v had to pay rent!!
