from what i read it sure sounds like they want to take over where camp cooley left off.you gotta have some big time breeders.

It does appear that they are taking advantage of the opportunity to establish themselves as the "Big Maumoo" of Brangus Genetics, but I would not count out Camp Cooley completely as yet! Each breed must have some "High Rollers" who are financially able to push advantaged genetics to a high volume level. Those with the money and knowledge are in line for the chance to really make progress in their herd as well as others!

Wish they would give a bit more info. on the cattle and bulls as well as the ranch operation. Looks like most everything has a lot of Camp Cooley Genetics in them, but selling 100 head at a special sale is hardly a threat to Camp Cooley. I figure CCR will be back stronger than ever given time, in the meantime I plan to make their June sale and try to pick up a few head of great cattle.
