Two weeks ago I watched several $1.00+ bulls sell. I had hauled a bull in for B. It was a lease bull that the owners wanted taken to the sale. B had tried to buy it but they wanted it to go to the sale. So B told me to buy it. I asked how much. He said $1,200. I said never going to happen. He said OK $1,350. Bull weighed about 1900 and brought 88 cents. I never raised my hand. The bull was an idiot who didn't need to go home anyway.

Glad to hear! We have an older bull that didn't pass his BSE this year so he's off to the sale barn this week.

Kalona, IA had a $1.03 top last week. It takes a big,lean bull to bring that. Most are in that .80-.90 range.
