It's just a parlor game. You start with a 2 word phrase, and try to get to an even more obscure 2 word phrase. Works better in a living room, than a discussion forum.

Say I started the game with shoe sole.........And wanted to get to chair rail.

We'd keep one drop one til we got there.
Shoe lace
lace fringe
Etc. til you get there.
