Hello I have a few questions. We are getting into showing santa gertrudis cattle. First question is what type of feed ration does every one use? And my next question is what is the best clippers to use to body clip with? Thanks and help would be greatful.

Welcome. You want to feed a good ration that is 12 to 14 percent crude protein. Several companies make good rations and I don't know what is available in your area. If you will have several head on feed and have storage available, you may want to look at getting a ration custom blended and getting it in bulk.

When my kids were showing, we used Sunbeam clippers with a flat head.
