Hi all, just a question fer ya, we have got a swiss bull calf at auction. we are planning to put him in the frezer at a later date. My question is, do dairy bulls make enough beef to make it worth while? Around here there are mostly dairy cattle that go thru the ring. And beef cattle are far from cheap around here, but you can pick up the dairy bulls at a reasanable price
"cheap" is this what most folks use for there beef needs (IE:feeder calfs) thanks for your help.
