I'm curious, where would some of you price June calving cows, that you only wanted one calf out of before weaning the calves, culling the cows and selling the calves after weaning? Lets assume a 500 lb. weaning weight.
If the cows are decent size and in shape probably around .10-.15 lb over slaughter price. The trick is getting the cows back up to weight after calving. Good forage is a must have.
