Finally had 2 more on Wednesday, both cows are very stand off-ish, with another cow missing. Heres to hoping

More babies; And a set of twins! (Could not figure out who in the world had calved but there was an extra calf
) Expecting 3 more to calve then get a gap until June when the hereford went bad and replaced him with Beefcake.

Yes they could! The differences can be hard to tell. Mama is able to count to two now. First 2 days we couldn't figure who an extra calf belonged to but the calf wouldnt allow us to catch it so it was eating. He eventually stayed with mama n his brother.

This should be the last of the hereford babies. Going to have a gap until June most likely for the rest.

She had a really cute calf last year too. Raised one of the biggest steers and bred back on time. Not bad for a first timer.Omg! Trixie made a GOOD one!

Lovegrass. Rest of pasture is mix of native grasses and a patch of bermuda.

Not enough to make a difference when it gets to that mature stage. The short younger stuff, of course.lol. you can bale it into hay but it wont be a high qualityWell.... if it fits!!
