I shipped a nice Jersey first calf heifer and her heifer calf this year , she was suspect on the milk Johnnes test , so she was quarantined and I did separate fecals on all my cows , and she came back positive so went to butcher with her calf , I bought her at 300lbs , she was also neg on her TB and Brucellosis, BVD, BLV and big 16 mastitis test , my other 2 cows were neg , and will be retested shortly at herd check , I was not looking for Johnnes at the time I tested as she was only 2 , I was looking for Mycoplasma , her calf had developed an ear infection , and it is common with Mycoplasma infections , I will continue to test every 6 months
