I thought I had it beat, but I had some time off over Christmas and New Years and I got my bow out.
I'm hooked again and can't quit.
I've started shopping for a new bow and thought I wanted the older Hoyt Dorado, but I'm cheap so Sammick Sage is looking more my style

Anybody own or shot the Sage that can tell me whether a 130.00 bow is any count ?

besides being cheap I'm looking at the Sage because it's more of a traditional wood bow opposed to the Dorado with an aluminum riser
Is there another wooden riser take down bow you would recommend ?

Like everything else. They dont build them like they used to and it's nearly impossible to find them old bows that are in good shape and when you do they are high

Not a bow hunter but do know this old boy here has a good reputation over in East Texas. Small operation.

Yep Bob Lee bows are top of the line
Like getting a pair of boots custom made
I'm not qualified to own a bow of that caliber

Sure ya are Cross, step up.

Those are for hardcore traditional hunters that can shoot.
I don't finger shoot, I use a release, carbon fiber arrows with vanes, I don't instinct shoot, I aim and miss the whole target sometimes for a reason I can't explain.
