what happens when you let the federal government control the local schools.....

the localities chould take back control fo their schools and stop suckling on the teat of federal money....

most of the expenses of the schools are to meet federal mandates to get federal money.

In theory it might work. But based on some of the lunatic crap that is happening in some state governements I doubt that it would be an improvement. Colorado for instance..............

Yeah, the schools could take back responsibily, but they would still be bound to advance the national agenda and they wouldn't get that fed money. The things that anger people about local schools are mostly the result of federal laws.

The biggest stick the feds have to hit the schools with is taking away the federal money....
if the schhols had the courage to give up the money they could tell the feds to go pound sand with their programs.

If enough people would stop paying taxes this kinda crap would stop. It's the only way the American tax payer can make the Government listen to them. We need 25% of the people to quit paying taxes, starting with property taxes. That's the only way anything will ever change. Folks had better hang on the ride still has 3 more years. Unless we declare war on Iran or some other country in a couple of years. Then we will be stuck having some real fun.
