ID Appellate Court upholds damages re: calf milk replacer

This article was in yesterday's Idaho Statesman newspaper, about calf deaths in 2005 attributable to a Land O Lakes calf milk replacer. Don't know if any of you had problems with that product, but if you did, and if you've been fighting it, here's some precedent:

Pretty amazing considering all the things that go into raising baby calves and the fact that LOL makes some of the best milk replacer money can buy.

TB, LOL has always had a good reputation. I don't know what happened/what went wrong with the product in this case. By the time this happened, I had already left Idaho, so this was the first I'd heard about the suit. Idaho courts tend to be conservative, so the evidence must have been pretty persuasive.

I lost a bunch of lambs to LOL lamb replacer, I had just bought a new bag ,and they started dropping like flys,and I have never used it again,put the last 2 on goats and cows milk and saved them
this was 3 years ago
now I just raise them on cows milk Suzanne

I used it last year on my Lab puppies and they did great.

The LOL calf replacer problem that started the Idaho case was 2006 or 2007 product (the several-months old link to the Idaho Statesman blurb has expired) -- not something current. Just took awhile for the litigation to get worked out.
