In February we had a neighbor get diagnose with Bovine spongiform encephalopathy variant Creutzfeidt-Jakob Disease(vCJD). CDC, USDA had sent him to OHIO for treatment and control. His family buried him last week. The center's doctor's said he could have had vCJD in his system for 10 years or more. Didnt know that. The wife and family had to sign a bunch of crap not to say anything just to get him home and then have him buried. The disease control guys were in charge of that also. I spoke with his niece yesterday they still dont know how he got the disease. She said he was one of only three in the us to have gotten vCJD.
