How to get rid of Slugs

My garden is being over ran with slugs. I've sprayed the liquid seven but that's not working. Any other suggestions? Too big of a garden to go around with a salt shaker or putting a saucer of beer out.

Yep--if the fruit and plants are high enough the chickens can't get to em, they'll pick every slug and grasshpper up, as well as keeping the grass out of the middles. Just don't go walking thru the garden barefooted.

Here in the slug capital of the world, my wife uses a product called "sluggo". Supposed to be safe for dogs etc.
