Pulled dead calf at about 8:30.
First calf simbra heifer. She's down and had a pretty full prolapse. I put it back in successfully. She's got what i would call a partial prolapse now but is loosing some dilation. Looks like it might close back up ok......
Leave her be. or go head and put it back and give a stitch.
Took pick from back a bit I don't want her to try to stand right yet.

Well I don't think putting a couple zip ties in would hurt. And might help

Get a long neck wine bottle, use the neck as the handle to reach in and make sure you get the ends of the uterus all turned back out the right way.

Sew her up. Make sure your stiches go past the hairline or you may do them again. When the twine rots out she will likely be fine.

Then can her.
