There has been lots of discussion over the years about using a Charolais bull on Longhorn cows.

I sold 2 mostly black, polled 1/2 longhorn 1/2 SimAngus heifers a couple of years ago at Shelbyville. According to the report they put on line they brought top dollar for heifers in their weight class that day.
Mine are filled out better than the ones in the pictures
