hello every one new member here,had a question for any one that might know .i have encountered lice on cattle but never horses.discoved lice on my horses ,i was just wondering what i could use to treat them i have used co-ral on cattle is it ok to use on horses ?thanks for any input [/b]

When we have problems with lice on the horses, we just sprinkle some lice powder down their mane and back.

They make an Ivomec for horses now. Don't think it is Ivomec brand but ivermectin is the active ingredient. Get the stuff from my vet in predrawn doses. Would warn that some wormers used for horses can be fatal to dogs if they eat the poop.
