I grew up in Craig, I hunted ground squirrels in Browns Park. I hunted Mule Deer north of Maybell. Never had time to go watch them run horses through Maybell. One time when I was dating my ex I took her to lunch at the little restaurant in Maybell, and we had a bird flying around in the building; I don't think she liked that much. I thought it was kind of funny. The meals were kind of a hit or a miss, I think it depended on who was doing the cooking. They do have a pretty nice park and campground there.
