Well I just got this free "lime" delivered to our fields here in maine. It is from a papermill in maine that takes all of the left over paper and mixes it with clay and lime. They say it brings back wonders to grass. So I'm gonna try it. I couldnt believe when he said I need to put down 8 tons per acre! What do you guys think it will do for my hay/baleage grass? The grass has only been seeing phosphate in the spring and manure in fall, keep in mind it about 10 year old seed. I'm hoping this stuff really thickens my crop anyone else?

I hope it works for you also.
The mixture almost sounds like papier-mache.
What or how do they normally dispose of this?
Are the clay and lime by-products of production also?
Does you soil test call for liming?
Will it be a slurry or dry spread?
If it helps and it's free thats good on you.

this is a byproduct right from the papermill. You could say its like a dryform definetely. They say it raises the ph up crazy numbers and i hope it does well.
