Hind Quarters are frozen.

I have a calf who is experiencing problems beyond my realm of knowledge. The calf had a typical birth with no problems, about a week ago, she started moving real slow and her hindquarters didn't seem to be working right. I got her in a pen and took a closer look. Her hind leg joint is completely balled up. Her muscle is rock hard and doesn't allow her to move. The joint seems to be freezing up. She has no respitory problems, she still nurses her mom when she can get up and she is still growing, but it seems like she is slowly lossing the ability to use her hind end. It seems like it is some sort of nervous system problem. I am stumped, if anyone knows anything please let me know.
