So instead they blame it on a coin toss rather than take a chance on actually winning...yeah--that makes perfect sense.

If I remember the game correctly, they were doing good to get the touchdown with 5 seconds left. Not marching down the field like a boss. I figure they gambled the toss, if they didn't win it, would have as much confidence in their defense to give them a shot.
