Help with a Gallagher Electric Fencer?

I have a solar powered Gallagher Electric Fencer that doesn't want to work this year. I worked great last year, but doesn't now. I noticed when I push the button that the light will flash as I'm pushing, but that's it. The battery is charged and the fuse is good.

Any help is appreciated.

HAve you set it out to solar charge without the power turned on? Some solar chargers wear out if they aren't allowed to "charge" up without the power on.

I just had the exact same problem. Sent it with a letter explaining the problem to Gallagher Power Fence, 130 W. 23rd Ave, North Kansas City, Mo 64116 ATTN: Repair Department.
I took them less than 2 weeks to get it back to me working fine. Can't ask for better than that.

What did they charge you to fix it?

I had a plug in one go bad on me last year and sent it in and they put a new circuit board in and sent it back. Not under warranty, and they still didn't charge anything for it.

No charge. Just cost me the shipping to them.
