Heifers and high water

It was time to pull CIDER's from the heifers yesterday and I took my camera along while getting them in. We've been getting a lot of good moisture lately. I bet every irrigation ditch in the valley is running and the creeks are going over the banks. I can't help but think of how things were a year ago at this time when we hardly had any ditches running. It was hot windy and dry and smoke from all the fires was so thick and heavy it would choke you.


The black baldy heifer is out of Hoover Dam.




Time to throw tails up and run.
