I have a hefier due to calve today but I notice the last few days that when she lays down, she has what looks to be a prolapse v. but when she gets up it goes back inside. What should I do? She is a first calf heifer. Any help would be appreciated.

As long as it goes back in use benign neglect. Just keep an eye on her as the calf is just putting pressure on her vagina. Just keep an eye on her.
I had one that did that as a heifer and every year after as well when she was very heavy bred, she delivered always unassisted and never prolapsed. It is very common in heavy bred cattle.

Agreed with hillsdown...
Keep an eye on her for calving, she may or may not do it again next year for you... heavy bred cows and/or over conditioned cows will do this.
