Gravel vs. Cow's feet ?

I am moving some of my cows to a new pasture that has a barn with gravel (red wash gravel) around it's perimeter. My cows have never been on gravel. I was concerned about a risk to their hooves if rocks would get stuck between them and cause foot complications ?

Not hardly.

My biggest concern would be that they get a little tender fotted from walking on the gravel. Other than that you shouldn't have problems. They can usually get rocks out from between their hooves just by walking around.
