Grass finished beef

We have a grass finished beef program here in Central Oregon and I am sheep,alpaca and llama shearer on the side.

Was shearing a couple of sheep for a gal who asked how our beef program was going. She then said, in all seriousness, that they were ready to market their beef because their grass was finished.

Guess the term means different things to different folks.
