goats for clearing

Help Support CattleToday:

well our property is super full of super thick brush and briars also has alot od 10 ft plus sapplings. it backs righ up to a small mtn so part of it is slightly inclined. i guess i will finish the fencing, put some goats or maybe longhorns like some of you said ( i think goats would be alot cheaper and do a better job too, not sure though) then go in there with a chainsaw and cut down the small saplings after the goats have cleared it all down and then get a tractor or dozer in there to clean up the deadfall and stumps and plant some grass, what do yall think

you can buy spanish or boer nannies for $50 to $100.$1000 to $1500 should get you a good bunch of nannies.

An buck goat peeing on his beard discourages flys.Flys don't like the smell.Running a billy goat or two with cattle helps keep flys down.
Hmmmm...I'm gonna start peeing on my beard then. Cheaper than buying OFF!
