If I order semen from genex and they mail it how long does the shipping package last?

It will get to you in enough time. They won't send it out in something that won't last as long as the mail ride to you.

It will be shipped in a dry shipper. Basicly a liquid nitrogen tank wihtout the liquid. A dry shipper holds a charge for 7-10 days. It shouldn;t be opened until you're ready to move the semen to a liquid-liquid nitrogen tank.

I usually move it to my tank the same day it hits my porch. Then UPS is usually back the next day to get the shipper.

They will not ship over a weekend, usually. Most shipments are made early in the week so the shipper doesn't sit around somewhere other than your porch.

Try locating a Genex rep near you. They will probably have the semen that you need and it will save you the shipping costs.

Dry shippers still use liquid nitrogen they just have a sponge type material in them so they will not spill if tipped over.

they say up to 14 days. we have seen some not last a week though.
