Getting Ready

MN gun opener is Sat. Checked out the stand. Cleaned windows and got the heater ready. Forecast is for wind, rain/snow. I use this stand early and late in the day. See a ton of deer, I'll wait for a big guy and 1 fat doe.
The view from the stand to the West. The Aspens are at the edge of a brushy mess of a swamp.

This is to the NW. Open woods with many scraps and rubs.

This is North, longest shot here would be 350 yards. Winter Wheat clover and rygrass.

To the East. Harvested corn and Winter wheat.

The pics were taken Tuesday, at the time it was in the 70's bugs flying around everywhere. Back to reality. 40 for a high today and chance of snow showers.

Great looking spot to hunt and beautiful country. Why are the strips of corn left unharvested?? Wildlife feed??
