Getting F-250 out of park

Does anyone know an easy fix for a 94 F-250 that refuses to come out of park a lot of the time? Thanks

Check for mud buildup. Even though that is mostly the cause of it not going into park.

Are you parking on an incline? If so, set the park brake before putting it into park.

I bet the shift tube is getting ready to break. It is inside the column.

I can't remember if this model has to have the brake pedal pressed to release the park. All of them do now, if this is the case it could just be out of adjustment.

The 94 Bronco has to have the pedal pressed.

It's got a fuse blown. For like the hazzard lights, but I'll bet anything it is a fuse for the lights.

Like jed said, my 94 Bronco used to have to have the pedal pushed in. That was until it blew the fuse for the brake lights and I couldn't get it in park one day and needed to go somehere. There's a solenoid at the bottom of the steering column that can be unhooked to solve that problem.
