> dun Gelbvieh do cross well with Angus. I think they are better with Brahman or Hereford. They don't seem to cross as well with a maternal type breed such as Red Poll or South Devon. Perhaps hybrid vigour isn't as effective as with some other breeds. Best Wishes Colin
Gelveigh angus cross is an excellent cross. Breed the angus/gelbveigh back to angus and you have a feeder calf that is hard to beat. We always excellent luck with this cross
