Dun is right BUT, a fullblood is an animal that its parentage originates from imported cattle. SOMETIMES, the imported cattle (live or semen) actually was an upgraded crossbred animal in the other country. We have had instances where "fullblood" cows had less Simmental blood in them than Purebred cows. Need to do a complete pedigree check. Of course, I believe we have done a better job of "creating" a breed that fits our industry, thus I like Purebreds over Fullbloods. Jeanne
