Both my boys live not far from there.
Wife is from that country all her people still down there.
Chocolate bayou is not a good place to go missing the name says it all.
Used to goose hunt that back in the day when that was big rice farms they irrigated out of the bayou on the upper end.

I thought I replied to this a little while ago--I guess that post rode the thunder......

It don't look too bad there now. 435 is Wickwillow Lane--you can see the bayou. On to the left, across the bayou, it opens up into big empty fields and another housing deveopment of some kind.

That is right down the road were the Mrs grew up. Used to squirrel hunt Chocolate off FM 1462 when I went with my BIL's. Most of that country west of 1462 is a tallow tree thicket to Angleton.

From a social media post

"Unfortunately EquuSearch has suspended the search until they feel like they have additional information that proves they need to continue the search.
He walked his dog along chocolate bayou daily. I grew up on Wickwillow and my dad still lives there on ten acres. This street is not a neighborhood street. It's out in the country to give a better visual."

Another article states that he reportedly suffers from mental health issues. Sure doesn't sound good. Very sad situation.

only takes one. I have one in my pond right now--a little feller about 4' long. I'm hoping he magically disappears one night while I'm down there dealing with the one beaver I have left.

Couple people who have dissapeared while out for a walk up here - ran off with a lover.

not likely to leave his dog behind.

Sorry, that just struck me as funny - While it's plausible that he would leave his wife and kids for a lover; it doesn't make sense that he would leave his dog.
