This post is actually about our LACK of issues...
We always do decent with our first timers, and this year we've had a higher head count than normal with first timers... they have been super, a really maternal and motherly bunch.
All calving out really smoothly.
Feeling really blessed.
And feeling really good about my AI sire decisions.
Here is Ivory, a Hooks Majestic heifer with her Autobahn bull calf, the little stinker moves like lightning.
And this is actually a third calver, Sierra, she's the white one, on her first calf she was gosh awful. I'm glad that things have changed a lot with her, she almost didn't get a second chance.
The one on the left is actually a short bred heifer.
I'm liking how motherly she is being to this little one, I was already excited to see her calf, but now seeing her actions, I think she's gonna be good dam material.
