Thanks all. Yesterday was "stock day," as I had to help put out stuff on the shelves in the store...pretty challenging for someone who's at their first day on the job there. Today got to play with sprayer parts, sorting and stocking the shelves and that. One thing I learned from the past couple days is that keeping tabs on merchandise in a store isn't as easy as it seems!

Funny thing though I got approached by the fella second-in-command to the manager of the store about an opportunity for taking on the job of a crop specialist for pesticide use (or something like that) through that same company that I'm working under now. More it was because they noticed the fact I had a bit of university under my belt already. So I'm going to sit and think on that, may be something worth pursuing.

They certainly are, Katherine.

The thing was, with this job, I was quite literally asked to come in and start working the day after I submitted my application. No need for interview, nothing like that, just a brief negotiation for wages and asked when I'd like to come in, and that was that. To say that I was happy to get something like that is an understatement.

So I've a feeling I'll be working there for a while, no matter if I keep with the display clerk position or take up the offer for the crop specialist offer, or if something else under that company comes up for me to take advantage of.
