I was stirring the pot on an old discussion from here years ago. It was pretty epic at the time.

I don't recall that BF. We've had some doozies.

The helper bull was for big boy junior, or something like that. Actually made its appearance in many threads, but it was long about the feeding chicken litter discussion.

I would use him this year and then return him. Because I am assuming you keep replacement heifers, you will be adding that extra diversity to your herd. Keep a few of these bulls calves and next year you can have a fresh bull. I like to spread it around and have a lot of influence in the mix.
