electric fence

I see where some people take 4 strands of barbwire for fence and others 5 strands. My question is do you all use electric fences or is the barbed wire enough for you? If electric how many strands have juice on them? Also wish i could see some fence pics on here lol.

Brier Patch, I use four strand barbed and that is fine for all areas which don't have other cattle(bulls) in them. BUT, I also use three strands of electric wire on one side of one man's pasture, because he seems to enjoy the free use of my Reg. black Angus bull, and also allowing his cattle access to my good pasture when his is used up. Haven't had any problem with him or his since putting up a good strong electric system.
