I'm hurting bad here in North Mississippi.
Last drop of rain I saw (and it wasn't much)
was first week of July. My forcast for this
week is over 100 degrees daily and of course
NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST. Help !

IMO, leasing pasture is way cheaper if you can find it, even if you have to do a little fence mending or loacte them 50 miles away. While it is dated, about five years ago I loaded 7-8 trucks and drove our main herd 18 hours to their new temporary home.

Right out ofthe province and across another to find good grass. Never saw them again - hired a fellow to run them on shares for a couple of years. He did a good job - and eventually I sold the entire lot.

Anyone in the middle of a drought is in tough times - we made it through and hope you folks do as well.
