Subject: Don't drink and drive - take a cab.
To:
With the Holidays upon us, I would like to share a personal experience
with my friends about drinking and driving.
As many of you know, some of us may have had brushes with the
authorities from time to time on the way home after a "social event",
out with friends. Well, several days ago, a friend was out for an evening
with other friends and had several alcoholic beverages followed by some
rather nice after dinner liquor. Feeling very mellow, she still had the
sense to know that she may be slightly over the limit. She remembered the
warning "Don't drink and drive."
That's when she did something that she'd never done before ----- she took a
cab home. Better safe than sorry.
Sure enough, on the way home, there was a police road block, but since
it was a cab, they just waved it past. She arrived home safely
without
incident. She was so relieved.
This was a real surprise however, as she had never driven a cab before.
She didn't know where she got it, and now that it's in her garage, she doesn't
know what to do with it. Any suggestions?
